We recommend staying in Amboise or in a nearby village/town. See the accommodations page for a few options, but feel free to book what looks best for you!

Renting a car to get around is another great option (they are very reasonable). Using the local taxis is another option (however, they may be limited in August), so it is best to call ahead.

Yes, we will have heavy hors d'oeuvres—think canapés, salads, and charcuterie—along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. If you think you may need more to eat and drink, we recommend making a dinner reservation at your hotel or in Amboise.
